I use EMDR therapy to help people recover from post-traumatic stress. My preferred model of EMDR is the "intensive" model, in which we meet for a longer period of time per session (1.5 - 4 hours per session), for a smaller, total number of sessions.
Research has shown that this type of EMDR approach can be very effective, in reducing your distress from traumatic memories.
